Bevilacqua

I’m photographer, filmmaker and visual storyteller.

I alternate photography and direction of documentaries and video clips.

I’m based in Milan (Italy) working with magazines and agency for editorials and corporate communications.
I taught photography as visiting professor of photography at the Milan branch of the at Fashion Institute of Technology of New York / Politecnico di Milano.
I’m contributor of the Parallelozero photo agency.
I direct and produce documentaries and video clips, including, Little Red Robin Hood a biographic documentary about Robert Wyatt, Soft Machine’s singer and drummer, with Elvis Costello, Brian Eno, Paul Weller and Nick Mason (Pink Floyd drummer) His works has been exhibited or screened in various film and photo festival as Boutographies in Montpellier, (France), Biennial of Photography Brescia (Italy), PhotoBiennale in Thessaloniki (Greece), International Fotografia Festival Rome (Italy), Indian Vision London (UK), Fotografia Europea Reggio Emilia (Italy) , Encontros da Imagem Braga (Portugal), Center for Fine Art Photography Colorado (USA) , National Portrait Gallery of London (UK), SIPF Singapore Internationale Photo Festival, Cortona On The Move, (Italy) Copenaghen Photo Festival 2014 (Denmark), Munchen Stadt Museo (Germany), Book City – Foto Libri & CO. My photographic works has featured in magazine as Marieclaire, GEO, Ojo De Pez, Chine Lens, La Croix, Stern, Io Donna, and in various blogs about contemporary photography.

The books IN ITALIA, published by Federico Motta Editore with text by the architect Mario Botta, INTO THE SILENCE a photographic journey into the world of contemporary hermits and UTOPIA a four years global journey to discover the world of contemporary realized utopia as spiritual, artistic and social communities.
