Inhabiting Beauty
Inhabiting Beauty is an immersive and compelling experience designed to provoke reflection on the concept of beauty in its many forms. In a world where the chaos of daily life often clouds our perception of beauty, this exhibition seeks to refocus attention on the fundamental aspects of aesthetics and human experience.
Beauty is not just decorative, but a profound essence that shapes our existence and relationships.
The exhibition presents works by three contemporary artists, each offering their own interpretation of what it means to “inhabit beauty.”
Dario Zucchi
Dario Zucchi – explores the relationship between museum visitors and art. In his work, spectators merge with the artworks they admire, actively participating in the beauty around them. Through his unpremeditated photos, Zucchi captures moments where art and observer become one, giving new meaning to the works of Picasso, Munch, Matisse, Rothko, and others.
Maurizio Forcella
Maurizio Forcella’s photography (2023 Cairo Editore Art Prize, Gold Plaque Award) celebrates the evolving beauty of elderly women, rejecting conventional standards in favor of individuality. His portraits highlight imperfection as a source of creativity, showcasing sincere, time-worn faces that embrace diversity.
Patrick Corrado
Patrick Corrado deconstructs photographic images, symbols, and colors to offer a more fluid and contemporary view of beauty. His work suggests that beauty is not fixed but can be reassembled in countless ways, creating new perspectives that challenge traditional notions of harmony and form new visual languages.
